Soccer is the greatest game in the world, and Victor
Tieku, director, is a coach who knows it well. A native
of Ghana, West Africa and El Cerrito resident for 21
years, Victor has been around the game for decades.
He coached in the Berkeley-Albany league in the mid-
80’s and is currently an El Cerrito Soccer Club coach.
In addition he is the Mavericks Class 1 coach. He
operates a 400-member youth soccer club and
professional soccer team in Ghana, West Africa.
Victor has the talent to bring out the best in each child.
He uses a proven method that has worked well with
children of all ages and skill levels.

We offer a variety of soccer camps that meet the needs of players from
the beginner through more advanced levels. Camps are directed by Head
Coach Kevin Boyd, a USSF "A" licensed coach, in his eighth
year at Cal. Coach Boyd brings with him a wealth of experience and the
same coaching philosophy he has for his collegiate players. He believes
in providing players the opportunity to reach their greatest potential
by being challenged technically and tactically, in a fun and encouraging
environment.Come join Coach Boyd and the Cal staff for a summer of soccer,
friendships, and fun!

We hope you will join us this summer for our Cal Soccer Camps for Boys.
Our staff is selected for their ability to coach, train and develop
players, and includes some of the nation's best players and coaches.
We believe in providing the opportunity for players to reach their greatest
potential by being challenged technically and tactically, in a fun and
encouraging environment. The Golden Bear Soccer Camp curriculum has
been developed to offer modern and successful training methods used
in the United States and Europe. We also look forward to sharing training
techniques and methods that helped the Cal Men's Intercollegiate Soccer
Team make the NCAA Tournament, and become one of the top teams in the
nation.
Our camp is designed for beginner through elite level soccer players.
Individuals are placed in groups with participants of similar age, size,
and ability to ensure a beneficial training environment. We offer special
goalkeeper sessions within each camp. Come join Coach Grimes and the
Cal staff for lots of soccer and great fun!

We at Soccer Basics would like to invite you to sign up your child for our
weekly camps this summer. (June, July & August).
For over 15 years we have provided fun soccer classes to kids from Albany,
Berkeley, El Cerrito, Kensington, Oakland and surrounding communities.
The counselors of Soccer Basics are experienced soccer players
with excellent child guidence skills. A favorable student-coaching
ratio is maintained to ensure that every child will fully
benefit from the low pressure and stimulating program being presented.

in July out at Contra Costa. Felicia is a Coerver
coach so the camp should be very technical.
It is also very cheap and all of the $$ goes
