COACHES
& MANAGERS:
Alameda Contra
Costa Youth Soccer League (ACCYSL) is one of 15 leagues in District
4 of the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA). District 3 &
4 have combined their class 1 programs to form Golden State Soccer League
(GSSL). ACCYSL has 68 competitive teams (class 1, class 3, and u16-u19
class 4) that represent our league in district 4 or GSSL action.
AS
ALWAYS, please remember that it is up to each team to check the online
schedule against their field schedule (below) to make sure there are
no discrepancies, in other words, it is each team‚s responsibility
to make sure field assignments and game schedules match.
If you find a problem of any kind, or if you have to cancel or change
a home game for any reason, you must 1st contact the competitive match
secretary Steven Morrison, 510-883-0804, morri_69@hotmail.com.
The ACCYSL competitive match secretary (field's assignor) schedules
the field locations and times for home games only, to find out where
and when away games are to be played you must contact the coach of the
opposing team or check the schedule online.
The home team should notify all opponents of game times and locations
by September 5th. It is REQUIRED that the home coach confirm the time
and location with the visiting coach by 8:00pm Monday before the match.
It has become a lot tighter to make changes to the schedule. Coach's
can no longer mutually agree to reschedule games on his/her own. The
competitive administrators must approve any rescheduling at least 7
days ahead of time. Games may be postponed only for the reasons stated
in the Procedures, Rules and Regulations. It is the home team's responsibility
to notify the field's assignor and the appropriate competitive administrator
of any change to the schedule. Note: Lack of referee is not a qualifying
reason for a reschedule.
All games must be played by Sunday 9th November to be included in the
standings.
If you must cancel or change a game follow
these steps;
Step 1; contact Steven Morrison in order to find an
alternate field/time that is available.
Step 2; contact the competitive administrator for your
team for approval of any contemplated change.
GSSL class 1 Girls U12 -U14 - AnnaMarie Petrakovitz, Petrox3@comcast.net
GSSL class 1 Girls U15 - U19 - Annette Tarabini, tarabini1@sbcglobal.net

D4 Class 3 Boys - TBD
D4 Class 3 Girls - Bruce Furst - bfurst@sbcglobal.net
D4 Class 4 u16-u19 Boys & Girls o David Mader - dcmader@hotmail.com
Step 3; contact the referee coordinator Jerry Nelson,
883-9507 (jertheluddite@lycos.com) to cancel the referee for the game
(referee's are precious, woe betide the coach who wastes a referee).
Step 4; contact Steven Morrison to confirm the new
field/time.
For rescheduling requests, the preferred method is to e-mail (if possible)
the request to the appropriate competitive administrator (at least 7
days ahead of any desired changes) to establish a proper chain of events
and to not bother the administrators families with a lot of phone calls.
ACCYSL is a great league to represent, have a fun season.
